- Persians rose to power fast but they also fell quickly, they were extremely brilliant and had new ways of running tings.
- people were not prepared to defend agains this.
- 500 BC was the start of the classical period
- 100 years after start of classical period the greek empire formed and began to rise in power.
- the Persians handed their empire to Rome on a "silver platter" when they fell, allowed for the rise of the Roman Empire
- people looked to religion to guide them and to follow and base their loves off of.
- Greeks were humanists, they had gods that were in human form and multiple of them

This is where christianity first became big and this is where it spread form.
- Rome went from republic to empire
- the islamic empire went from 600 ad to 1300 ad
- the early Christians had to practice their religion in hiding, it also did not help because the materials they had to go of of and to practice from were little to none.
- Rome moves toConstantinople with is modern day Istanbul Christianity is still centered in Rome
