Silk Road:
- Started in china
- went from china to Africa Europe and Vietnam
- the goods that are traded were silk, gold, iron, Bamboo shoots
- carriers brought the items on the road so that Europe Africa China and Vietnam could trade between each other
- The items were more expensive the further they traveled.
Sand Road:
- Was used to transport gold, salt, cotton, textiles, and food in Africa along the Niger River
- they used camels and donkeys to carry the goods along the road
- As the trade rout began to grow it made the Saharan desert a global trade rout and transformed it from just a way of interaction between civilizations within Africa
Sea Road:
- This trade rout was based in the Indian Ocean and spanned from Asia, India, and Africa.
- Transporting good by boat it made good cheaper to transport unlike the Silk Road where goods would be marked up in price the further they went.
- Harbor towns were formed to be able and receive the goods being transported on this rout.
- The goods trade on this rout were Slaves, Gold and Spices. Along with various other goods but this is what mainly was traded.
